Diagnostic Lab Testing

Comprehensive testing with real results

Test for functional and nutritional deficiencies to help

treat conditions, manage symptoms, and prevent illness

Why Blood Labs?

Blood labs are able to provide us with the most detailed information about the current status of your health with readable hard data. By measuring your functional nutritional deficiencies at the cellular level, we are able to help you treat conditions, manage symptoms, and prevent illness with customized therapies. The results from these labs allow us to see where your body is deficient nutritionally and develop personalized health programs to optimize your overall personal health.

These tests are safe and can be done in a matter of minutes. They can even be done in conjunction with one of our therapies, allowing you to receive a treatment and get your blood drawn in one easy appointment. In a couple of weeks after the blood draw, you will have a complete map of your health.

Blood is collected in the clinic and processed for shipping. Blood draws can happen along with infusions, eliminating extra needles and saving you time.

All samples are overnighted securely to the labs. We have partnered with reputable labs using patented technology to deliver accurate results.

Test results are then sent to us. Our medical team can analyze the data, interpret the results, and formulate custom therapies for proper supplementation.

You may schedule a consultation with our medical staff to review the results of your tests and help optimize your diet and supplementation plan to meet your specific needs. We can also customize therapies tailor-made to address the results of your lab tests in order to address any deficiencies that may exist in your body.

If you are dealing with chronic symptoms, inflammation, a medical condition, or illness, our certified medical staff can put you on the right program using our lab testing and your medical history.

We also offer nutritional coaching if you need further assistance with your diet and meal planning.

  • 30 individual micronutrients tested

  • Deficiencies can be treated with our therapies and supplements

  • Balanced micronutrients allow for optimal functioning and regulation of bodily processes

*Includes follow-up consultation and protocol

50% people taking multivitamins are micronutrient deficient, even taking supplements! These deficiencies are based on many factors, including genetics, diet, excessive physical activity, prescription drugs, smoking, alcohol, sedentary habits, and physical, emotional, and environmental stressors. Weight gain, headaches, inflammation, fatigue, immune function, mood problems, cancer, heart disease, arthritis, diabetes, stress tolerance are all closely tied to your micronutrient status.

We are doing the most comprehensive micronutrient testing (30 different vitamins, minerals, amino acids, antioxidants and metabolites), which common bloodwork does NOT do. Furthermore, standard testing measures concentrations in the fluid OUTSIDE of cells, our test measures INSIDE cells. Deficiencies can create the potential for a whole host of long-term chronic illnesses. These deficiencies, when known, can be replaced with diet, supplementation, and IV/IM therapy to provide your body with the nutrients it needs to perform optimally.

Food Sensitivity

  • Most reliable and clinically relevant food sensitivity test on the market

  • Assesses your body's inflammatory response to 170 different foods

  • Addressing sensitivities can produce a major improvement in health

*Includes follow-up consultation and program

MRT® is a functional assessment of the inflammatory response to foods that you ingest. Food-induced inflammation is so relevant to the health of so many patients, that its importance cannot be overstated. Food sensitivities represent an important source of inflammation in chronic inflammatory conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome, leaky gut, migraines, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, inflammation, eczema, psoriasis, GERD, obesity and chronic fatigue.

Fully addressing sensitivities can produce a major improvement in outcomes. Optimizing these outcomes is only possible if you have the full picture of your individual sensitivities.

The benefits of MRT® and the associated LEAP diet protocol go far beyond food sensitivity related health problems; it empowers you to take an active part in your care, and it helps you realize a sense of control over your own health.

Micronutrient, Cardiometabolic

  • Test the risk for heart disease and diabetes

  • More advanced look into lipoproteins than typical cholesterol testing

  • Measures overall vascular inflammation

  • Tests overall omega levels as well as their ratios

Fasting Required

The CardioMetabolic Test measures your overall vascular inflammation levels, the root cause of weight gain, diabetes, hormone dysfunction, and heart disease. This lab measures your overall vascular inflammation levels, the root cause of weight gain, diabetes, hormone dysfunction, and heart disease. In addition, this test includes the Pre-Diabetes Biomarkers to help identify metabolic abnormalities that may progress into diabetes.

This test also measures your omega 3 and 6 levels, which are also related to your risk of heart attack and inflammatory diseases. The average American diet provides an imbalanced ratio of omega-6’s (high) to omega-3’s (too low). Blood levels of omega-3 fatty acids may be more informative than any other cardiovascular disease risk factor, since it is physiologically relevant and easily modified.

Collectively, these check points help clients understand that not just one factor, but rather a constellation of factors, contributes to the genesis and progression towards cardiovascular disease.

Micronutrient, Food Sensitivity

  • Test for gene variants affecting your body's natural methylation process

  • Estimated 30% of the population affected by one of two variants

  • Leads to nutrient deficiencies that need to be properly supplemented

Methylation is a biochemical process that is involved in nearly all the body’s functions, including detoxification, energy production, and inflammation. For instance, the methylation of several B vitamins is very important to many processes in the body, including SAMe and ATP production cycles.

Methylation issues can lead to chronic fatigue, foggy head, mood problems, heart disease, weakened immune systems, or any chronic illness that aren’t easily diagnosed.

This genetic test lets us know if you may have a variation in your DNA code that leads to methylation problems. This knowledge will allow you to properly supplement several important nutrients, which you can do with our therapies at Vitalife.

Micronutrient, Food Sensitivity, Telomere

  • Know how fast your cells are aging

  • Tests the length of your telomeres - shorter telomeres imply shorter cellular lifespan

  • Nutrient deficiencies and inflammatory diets will shorten telomeres faster

  • Target deficiencies to reverse aging

Telomeres are sections of DNA at the end of each chromosome that serve as a "cap" to your genetic material. Every time a cell replicates, its telomere will become shorter. Shorter telomeres imply a shorter lifespan for a cell. Our Telomere Test is a superb marker for cellular aging. With poor diet and health and nutrient deficiencies, your cells may be aging faster than the average for your age. Shorter telomeres have been associated with metabolic abnormalities, obesity, and several degenerative diseases, including cancer, dementia, and cardiovascular disease.

Lifestyle modifications can reduce the frequency of cellular replication, and therefore, slow the aging process. Our therapies help slow the loss of telomere length, and help your body slow aging, prevent age-related diseases, and improve your overall health and well-being. Getting in front of these issues today will only improve your life in the future.

Micronutrient, Food Sensitivity, MTHFR

  • Healthy individuals on a balanced diet and supplementation plan may still suffer from hormonal imbalances

  • Micronutrients are the key building blocks of hormones and assist in hormone production

Hormones play a much bigger role in maintaining one's health than many people realize. Our hormone panels allow you to pinpoint deficiencies, thus, providing you with the information you may need for optimal treatment.

Relatively healthy individuals who follow an optimal diet and supplementation plan may still suffer from imbalance. The body cannot fully achieve optimal hormone regulation if lacking in key micronutrients, which are the building blocks of hormones and assist in hormone production. Any deficiencies, especially in important hormone regulating vitamins and nutrients such as Vitamin D and Magnesium, can cause an imbalance. For this reason, the Hormone Balance test is recommended along with Micronutrient test to give a more complete diagnostic picture.

Micronutrient, Food Sensitivity, MTHFR

  • Over 25 million Americans with a diagnosed thyroid disorder

  • Thyroids regulate every aspect of metabolism

  • Test includes Reverse T3, not typical of normal thyroid testing

There are currently about 25 million Americans diagnosed with some sort of thyroid disorder. The probability of a thyroid disorder occurring is four times more likely in women than in men.

Your thyroids regulate virtually every aspect of metabolism: body temperature, mood, sex hormones, energy levels, and even impact one’s appearance, from hair and nails to skin and waistline. Abnormalities lead to weight gain, fatigue, sensitivity to cold, muscle weakness, joint pain, pale/dry skin, and mood disorders.

Our test also includes a Reverse T3 test, which most thyroid tests do not include. Reverse T3, the inactive mirrored form of T3, inhibits T3 function. Measuring Reverse T3 levels is considered to be essential in the diagnosis and management of an under-active thyroid.
